Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had very clean rooms, but they smelled like an ashtray. The hot water at the front of the hotel was a bit noisy with the A23 right outside. It was very hot and could've done with a fan. The service was top-notch, with staff willing to go the extra mile for everyone, but there was an issue with unauthorized charges. The location was convenient with a bus stop outside, but it was a bit further from the racecourse or town center than expected. Dining was subpar with dirty dishes, and the decor was outdated, though the price was a bit steep for the offering.
My stay at the hotel was quite nice. The rooms were really spacious, but we had to switch rooms because of a broken light. The location was ideal for my Ultra run as it was close to where I needed to be. The dining experience was a bit overpriced for what we got, and some options were limited, but the staff were generally cheerful and helpful.
The hotel had some positives like a great location and friendly staff, but there were drawbacks such as cold rooms and issues with the dining experience. The value for money was reasonable considering the location.
