The hotel had very clean rooms, but they smelled like an ashtray. The hot water at the front of the hotel was a bit noisy with the A23 right outside. It was very hot and could've done with a fan. The service was top-notch, with staff willing to go the extra mile for everyone, but there was an issue with unauthorized charges. The location was convenient with a bus stop outside, but it was a bit further from the racecourse or town center than expected. Dining was subpar with dirty dishes, and the decor was outdated, though the price was a bit steep for the offering.

My stay at the hotel was quite nice. The rooms were really spacious, but we had to switch rooms because of a broken light. The location was ideal for my Ultra run as it was close to where I needed to be. The dining experience was a bit overpriced for what we got, and some options were limited, but the staff were generally cheerful and helpful.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were spacious and nice, but we had to change rooms due to a broken light. We had to close the window to reduce traffic noise, but the room was warm and cozy.
Service
9.0
The staff were very cheerful and helpful during our stay, despite a minor issue they were unable to control. They were polite and happy to assist whenever needed.
Location
8.0
The hotel's interior was great, although the lift looked shabby and the building was warm. It was well-connected to public transport and had free parking, making it convenient despite being rated 2 stars. The location near the bus stop made it easy to reach the town without a car.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were sufficient, but a bit overpriced for what was offered. Some items, like fruit juices, were not up to standard. Gluten-free options were limited, so choices were restricted.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were decent, but some areas needed improvement in terms of dining selections and pricing.

The hotel had some positives like a great location and friendly staff, but there were drawbacks such as cold rooms and issues with the dining experience. The value for money was reasonable considering the location.

Rooms
5.0
The room was extremely cold, and we could hear guests in adjoining rooms. There was a freezing cold draft coming in through the windows.
Service
5.0
The service was a mix - some staff were super friendly and helpful, while others were not friendly at all. There were issues with demands for payment and responsiveness.
Location
7.0
The location was convenient as it was just out of the main city center and offered free parking and wifi, but the hotel interior looked shabby and dirty.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was below average, especially finding out margarine was out of date. The cooked breakfast was considered a bargain, but there were issues like missing milk.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had limited facilities, and the overall quality was lacking in some areas.
